Saw this on my trip to Neemrana Fort last weekend.

This was parked outside the fort and was owned by them only. All I know about this car is that it's an Opel, no clue otherwise. Seemed to be in running condition though.

Ok, here's a 1100 Millicento I spotted on Tuesday in Delhi. Seems it had also taken part in the HMCI Rally to Ranthambore last weekend. Enjoy!

Note the "Millicento" badging on the rear & the dashboard.

P.S. "Carloose" happy now?

You bet

The car seems damn neat, though I spot a few anomalies. The millecento badge at the rear is an addition from a later model, though quite desirable.
The badge on the dash too has been remade.

The steering wheel and indicator box is from a Delight/Padmini, though thoughtfully painted ivory, which actually isnt original, though period looking. Side indicators werent originally fitted, these are from a Delight, and trims are reproductions as well.

Lastly, like most of these cars, it has larger headlights and parking lights fitted. Its certainly one of the better cars Ive seen, but doesnt even come close to Farhans fabulous car. I hope you're reading this Farhan!

Uh, karl one doubt- what kind of parking lights did the millecento originally have? I thought they are the same as the select ones?
And did they have bakelite surrounds for the meters initially or later?

The parking lights are smaller in diameter, similar in design, though with the appearence of more protrusion as a result.

They always had bakelite surrounds on the meters. Very rarely do they last, so everyone would replace them with metal ones that I suspect were locally manufactured.

pawan some great finds here. the austin and the mecedes 190d both are in prestine condition. the owners truely deserve these cars.

jayd no the tail lamps of the 190d is perfect and look original to me. the lights changes with the years not with models of the same year.

btw i would never paint an austin yellow

I don't think its a pick-up truck.. seems more like a tavera with the luggage rack on the roof.
..err.. on 2nd thoughts.. i'll let the experts do the talking.
