Looks like Sun Mill Compound is a hiding place for classics. I remember another car coming out from the entrance opp Phoenix Mills; that too was never seen at any events and turned out that the pic I posted was the 1st pic ever clicked of that car.

Sun mill compound is where automech exhausts is located. Many classics including mine go there for exhaust work. So i am not surprised that you would see different cars exiting and entering that compound
No idea who owns this spitfire but I took this pic as I had the pleasure of driving a spitfire mk II for about a year when a friend of mine left his with me in Bombay.

Is this the same car which is parked behind the McDonald's at Bandra, on Linking Road?
This pic was clicked at horniman circle during the VCCI rally this year. I can type the car number here if you'd like to check (not sure if it is allowed though? I'm new to the forum)
Mohammed Rafiji in a Millecento or Elegant.The light coloured steering indicates so ! The car has venetian blinds on the rear windscreen.

The other gentleman here to the right of Rafi Sahab, is Music Director Ravi. Thanks to Mr Sanjeev Kohli, son of the late maestro Madan Mohan for identifying the personality for us so quickly.

This caddy belongs to the birla family and used by the late G D Birla. Now restored, with the grandson.

This is 1960 Cadillac Sedan de Ville , a four door sedan.

Possibly for the Indian market in some cases the lower end Plymouths were badged DeSotos? in 46/48? The later Dodge Kingsways followed this practice.
Having said that, now that you have mentioned, we see most of the DeSotos in India do follow the design with the mudguard flowing into the door. A much grander look in my opinion.
EDIT - Actually if we look around, there are more cars, like this DeSoto in Pune.

Allow me to elaborate . Chrysler Corp. made two versions of Plymouth, Dodge and DeSoto in the postwar years. The three makes came with shorter fenders and were the entry level models and were marketed in India in a large number . Plymouth were even used as taxis just like Chevrolet and Ford. However, Dodge and DeSoto were also produced in a larger version with longer wheel base, choice of flat six or flat eight and almost identical to the Chrysler Windsor & New Yorker and were equipped with fluid drive transmissions. These larger Dodge and DeSoto cars were not assembled in india and were only imported as left hand drive. Of course, all models , both the smaller and the larger , shared sheet metal, engines, transmissions and general shapes. All had a common dimpled look on the trunk. Where each had a distinct personality was the dash board and the steering wheel .
Talking of Cadillacs, what happened to the one owned by Shantaram family? Was/is lying in their studio, right? Any pictures so far?
