From what I can make out, looks like MDR 200, a 1933 Chevy that was restored by our fellow tbhpian DKG, owned by the TVS family.

You are going to see a lot of the TVS Chevy in Hyderabad for the next few months I guess. Now with a brand new head, DKG must be having a blast:)

"TVS Chevy" I love this new title. I have seen a similar car flying sometime last year around Golkonda fort road however I am not sure was it this car or some other I vaguely remember but it was in silver color, boy that was an awesome sight she was so silent and fast made my bolero shy.

Yes a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Coupe, but with Wrong Front Bumper and missing Fender Indicators:eek:

i think its much easier to put in ventiports on fenders than to change grille/bumper/shape of a car! kasli is right, its a 1947/48 (trim differences only between the two years) Buick which is a distinctly differently shaped car to the 1949. the ventiports were also available as an after market accessory and that's what this car probably has.

The car in question is a 1948 Buick Roadmaster convertible. It is an all original car with the addition of the "portholes" being a later addition.

The car even features power windows and a power top as well. Very unique for that age of car.

Spotted this near Yercaud - TN. Which car is it exactly?

Chevrolet impala. Our family used to have one way back in the mid 70s. 8 cyl petrol car. Absolute monster to run and to maintain (or so i have heard... never really remember the car). It was sold to some gentleman and when i saw it some 15 yrs later, it had an amby diesel engine in it. Pitiful sight, cause the engine struggled massively to push this behemoth. Its probably scrapped now.

Spotted this Austin (1933 Austin 7 I guess) few days back in Nashik.

This 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster in Bangalore was on sale for quite some time. Sold last week to Mumbai, I understand

Appears to be in Rajasthan. The bonnet badge seems to be from a Standard 10!

Oh, and any pics. of that Herald as well please: :D

Spotted this 1938-39 Big 7 4 door almost after 2 years, last time spotted her at previous owners house, heard she changed hands for couple of lacs.

Saw this nice Peugeot 404 at a service station at Tardeo, Mumbai.

Long time since I saw a 404, didn't even know any survivors. This one's Goa registered, though..
