well then i was right. I commented to a friend that i had seen a similar DKW with twin 2 cyl engines (two stroke) and this car is very similar to it.... are they related?
and imagine giving this car a prize.....that only shows what kinda people run the organisation....no idea at all. Im surprised.

the last picture at the bottom is of a genuine G1200 i found online...all the others are of the car you saw in bombay, which was apparently conjured up for the nizam...

The owner (whos a swell guy, with around 15 great cars) did not know these details till I told him a couple of years back, so he now calls it a VW Tempo, 1939.

Sorry I didn't mention that I was asking about the photos other than the bottom one. It's sad that the vehicle won a prize.

I wrote an email to Mr. Nittin Dossa after that with all the evidence..but got no reply from him. I think the original has two water cooled engines

How come our Karl and Gang, Have not started the VCCI meet/fiesta thread for this years meet on this weekend?
Low enthusiasam for vintage and classic cars I guess!!

bumping an old thread i know, but perhaps you guys can help everyone out here, the vintage rally is slated to be on 24th & 25ht jan 2009 acc to vccci website , i cannot find any other details at all , can anyone shed some light on this ?

Last year it was started from kala ghoda museum at what time ? perhaps this year too the timings might be similar.
