VCCI Vintage Car Fiesta tomorrow in Mumbai.

Pics I took at the Sunday VCCCI event. Unfortunately had missed a few cars though covered as many as I could before the flag off
Had the pleasure of riding in Karl's freshly restored 1958 Standard Super 10 during the rally!
Starting with the car pics.
Continuing with the remaining tomorrow as I've reached the limit of 30 pics in this post!

Good to see the Karmann Ghia in its original state. Not sure if the additional chrome trim (including the grille) is an OE item or period accessories.

I had seen this car more than 10 years ago when it was in a yellow shade. The then owner (probably the same as current) had stored the headlights, tail lights, logos etc separately to prevent them from being nicked.

Nonetheless a very very very beautiful car. Wouldn't look out of place with the Porsches of that era.

Ah yes, I remember that! There were even pics. posted here- it had Fiat tail lamps for the reason you mention, IIRC! So tis the same car!

Stanher, yeh dil mange more. Eagerly awaiting the next 30 pictures. When you look back you see how some cars represent the classic styles of their times like the Chrysler 1946 or the Oxford Morris. So delightfully typical of that genre and period in time.

Final set of pics- covering a few more cars and the 2-wheelers plus some that were taken during and after the rally.
The last few pics were taken after the lunch when I left with Rony Vesuna in his '56 fiat elegant.

Incredible report, absolutely loved the Karmann Ghia. what is Question- Anyone know the model of the Alvis and white Triumph bike on display ?

The Alvis is a Speed 25, 1936. Bodied by Vanden Plas (England).

I do not know about the bike.
