The second picture seems to me of the EME Centre Parade ground in Secunderabad. It has a boundary wall now and the building at far will be the Commandants house if not mistaken.

Here is a Postcard dated 10th August 1925 also has two Military vehicles from British India.

I thought I would type the contents of the postcard for a better read for all of us here, its interesting .

The postcard is addressed to " Mrs. H Kennedy, Scotland"

It reads ( I hope I get it all right)

My Dear Mother,
We are not away yet, Our latest news is that we leave tomorrow for Singapore missing out Rangoon.

I got the Wembley and the Argentine letters, Ok.
Thank Father & Bob very much, Fales got the photo and was awfully
pleased with it, Father looks great, Really ! Bob is rather petrified but rather like him. You are jolly nice, thank you very much

P. S. Father was saying that a man in Aberdeen wanted to publish my Wembley letter !! Gee Whiz !

Printed caption on reverse: 'FIGHTER PLANES TOWED TO AIRBASE. Associated Press Photo shows:- Jeeps tow- P-47 fighter planes down a street in Karachi, India, after the aircraft are unloaded in the harbour. These planes are towed 15 miles inland to the air base where they are serviced ready for combat duties.'

Well the press report contained an error, it mentions Jeep's which these are not.

Some more military vehicles, the first two are probably of the 1920's, the third one of the 1930's / 1940's.
