Wow Karl ! British lines to the core !! What a beauty ! By the way that number plate light below the number plate looks most interesting. I can just imagine how beautiful it will look when lit.

It doesnt seem to be rotting. There seems to be air in the tires. Anyways, here in bombay, you will find lots of yezdis falling apart and neglected.

yes the air was filled and the vehicle was moved to its new rotting place. I asked the garage owner if he's interested for selling it and he not willing to spend money on restoring it or selling. Probably these people just wait for the vehicles to really becoming old before doing anything.

And then they make ALOT of money on it by selling it to some moron who is ready to pay alot for it.

Anyways, it is raining W123s in Dadar. Here is a W123 250 6cylinder twincarb. It is in runnin condition but it is in BAD shape.

LHD, petrol and American spec. Just curious! How much would it be worth?

Ram, why do you say it's US-spec? Round lights were there in the other markets as well (yellowed in the US?), while the bumpers aren't US-obese!

I dont think this is a US spec W-123 Ram.
The Us spec would have these following unique features not found on Euro models.
The Us spec cars came with extended bumpers and twin sealed beams one of which was a yellow (After 1979 till 1985) fog lamp.
One can see none of these on the car in question.
It looks like this is a W123 not older than 1982-83 as in late 1983-I984 the Twin round lamps were discontinued for twin square lamps, except in the US spec cars.

Note the cosmetic and visible differences in both cars

Us spec W123

Note the protruding bumper.

Besides these obvious diferences, there were many others which were not visible from just looking at the shell. One would have to look inside the cabin or beneath the hood.

Gogi, I said it was US Spec as i thought as the Twin headlamps cluster was only available in the US. Didnt know there were other countries also with those headlights. Also, The bigger lights are missing.

PRior to 1984 they all had twin lamps but the US spec did not have any kind of cover on then like in the Euro spec models. This is because of a US law that they had to have sealed beams without any obstruction.
Post 1984 when the all the other countries had twin rectangular ones as can be see in the other pics, the US specs still had twin round lamps.

This Topolino was a while ago, parked on the main road outside the Scrap dealer's place en route.
Sad to see such a car/s going to the graveyard.
I would pick up the Morris Dash, Meters, ger lever knob and steering wheel if he sells. Even the Window bakelite surrounds which one will never get here.
