My father used to tell me about this particular Nash tucked away in an area which was accessible by a few. The car was fortunately in an open shed but had not moved for many many moons. She is largely intact and has been rescued and the new owner would begin restoration soon. I am so glad that this car has been rescued.

This is a 1947-48 Nash fourdoor fastback sedan

I came across this video on U toob, as it is not mine , I can only guess this is Gujrat or Saurashtra looking at the landscape and regn. # of the Merc. Am sure some of the Gurus here know the location

Indeed. There are come comments on the youtube video and this seems to be near Rajkot in Gujarat. I inquired with some of my Rajkot friends and they told me this yard belongs to a well know old garage in Rajkot. Most of the stuff is beyond restoration and whatever is available is on a exorbitant price.

If the engine and other major parts are not missing, then she can be restored. Body does not seem to be corroded beyond repair.

Came across this derelict Mercedes W110 in HBR Layout, Bangalore.
Now while the rear says 190D, I understand that those were made between '61-'65, and came with indicators on the fenders itself. It also came with the chrome strips on the heckflossen (fintails).

Models from '65-'68 were replaced by the 200D nameplate and did away with the fender-mounted indicators and came with lamps right under the the headlights, as this one has. Also, they did away with the chrome on the fintails and instead had chrome trim running horizontally over the taillights, which this car ALSO has.

In addition, someone has installed taillights from the bigger W111/W112 cars, so really there's no knowing exactly what year this car is from.

Here is my contribution to this thread!

What you can see in the pictures is the left over chassis of a once upon a time Grey Premier Padmini, a Maruti 800 SB308 ahead of it and another Premier Padmini chassis in front of that. All these cars are rotting in a building's compound near Goa Portuguese Restaurant at Mahim, Mumbai.

I remember a time when these cars used to run, since I have been passing by that compound where these cars are lying quite regularly , for more than a decade to be precise as my school is just down the road from there.

I do not know what the story with these cars is? They were in use till 12 years ago maybe and over the years they decade to ground in this building's compound.

These are the 3 cars lying in the compund.

This Maruti 800 SB308 is a 1986/87 model as per my assumption due to its 'MGH' number plate series.

The car was originally a darker blue and was very original cosmetically too! In fact the original Stereo is still intact! doubt it works though. This car was surely was repainted to this Turquoise blue shade sometime later as this shade came in the late 90s.

These are the remains of what used to once upon a time be an Emerald Green Premier Padmini, saddens me to see these cars like this.

They were so clean once upon a time. Guess they have also been vandalised over the years.

The front of this SB308 is horrendous! I was really shocked to see what has become of it. Well all that I can say is , Rust in Pieces.
