A quick search on AP RTO website suggests it's registered at srikakulam RTO in 1982.

Some insight by the former owner of the car

Here's the story behind the car.

This is a Ford V8 from the mid to late 30's and was purchased by my grandfather from Cama Motors of Ahmedabad. It was used to tour the villages of Mansa State for his official work. In the mid 50's he sold it to a Mr. Patel who emigrated to the USA but did not sell it in remembrance of my grandfather and the 'good fortune' that it brought him. For years I saw it parked in his driveway but never saw it operational. In the mid 90's I offered to buy it back, when it was in fair condition and complete. However, the family declined.

I'm told the family is rather impoverished now and that they've sold off the bungalow/land so it's literally been dumped on the main Mansa-Vijapur road. I suspect the engine and mechs were sold off by the family or stolen.

Currently it's just the chassis and body shell.

This brings back a flood of nostalgia from schooldays. One of our teachers, Mr. Daniels (taught us Maths & Shakespeare at St. Joseph's, Allahabad) had a Topolino in more or less immaculate condition in the mid-sixties. He emigrated to Australia and I (like so many of us) left Allahabad - we have no idea what happened to the lovely little maroon Topolino.

Forgive me if I strike a mildly discordant note here - a fibre-glass bodied Reliant Kitten / Sipani Dolphin (virtually indestructible under normal weathering) of the mid-seventies in a thread for Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars? Even the engine block (with the RELIANT lettering on the cyl. head cover) looked reasonably healthy.

I felt its inclusion may look a little incongruous!

Someone just shared the pictures of this huge collection of rusting cars on FB, (supposedly for sale ?) somewhere in Maharashtra.

I think these pictures belong here, until these cars see better days.

Its owned by some Pawar's, they collected these between 2007 - 2009 and it seems that the cars will be there for a long time, unless good sense prevails, they want to sell the cars in a lot or maybe two and think they are worth crores !

Nothing to do with the collection you mention. And I read in some comment related to the facebook post with these pics. that these cars are located in Baramati.

how much is this lot actually worth? a crore wouldn't be too far out. There are some cars in good condition.. or appear to be.

These are really huge collections !! They may be something in mind to restore these and export for huge price?

A good friend who himself is a restorer has confirmed that the pictures are indeed, of the "Baramati collection/hoard". There are few good motorcycles as well in there.

The owners are ready to consider disposal/sale but only as a "Whole lot". They are looking at selling it off lock stock and barrel, nothing less :(
