I have many fond memories of this land rover. This was owned by my friend's father who installed a tractor's engine on it. We used to call it " Satte pe Satta Gadi". In reference to a vehicle used in Amitabh Bachchan's "Satte pe Satta" movie.

R.I.P W110 Mercedes. This car used to give company to another rotting W115 (Rust In Pieces... Pics of Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars) until recently - now both have disappeared.

Incidentally, that vehicle in the movie was actually a chopped up '59 Chevrolet! The only thing apart from the chassis intact in that car seemed the dashboard and maybe steering wheel!

Poor Desoto dying a silent death. I remember during my school years one Desoto being plying between Aurangabad and nasik as a private taxi.

It broke my heart too. I do not have any info on both the bikes, I just happened to chance upon them. From look of it RAJDOOT still has old number plate colors but the YEZDI seems to be recent neglect.
Will try to find info on both - over the weekend.

Well one detail I could tell is from the number which seem s to be AAV- which indicates tis from Vizag (Visakhapatnam), AP.

Many hints to say 1938 Ford V8. May not be too. Also looks like rumble seat too. If both guesses are true..sad its in this state.
