That would be right! IIRC, the garage guy who 'owned' the car was quoting 1 Lac for it back then (in 2009) and someone else told me the car didnt even have papers!
Anyways, I'm not sure if its still there now as I havent been to that place in a long time.

Though not all cars but i can confirm that the Fleetmaster is in Lucknow, still in similar state. The owner doesn't wants to part with it. A handful of classic automobile collectors/ enthusiasts from Lucknow including myself, have approached him but failed to receive any positive feedback.

Amazing cant even tell what colour the car is anymore, but if it was green, it belonged to a ollector in dadar parsi colony and was up for sale. Subsequently it was seen rotting in a garage in prabhadevi, then a lane near brabourne stadium and now here. Not a very collectible car! but sad!

Sadly not a classic either 'far as I can see! That Police Station would qualify to be one though, and is even right for this thread if we were to include disintegrating buildings!!

'had first seen it in Dec. 2006, parked in another part of the city. 'wonder who'd take the trouble of towing this thing all the way to another part of the city and why!

Fortunately or unfotunately the Fiat horn button is still intact!

I've come to the conclusion that it could be some Custom-built car built on a Fiat 1100 chassis? That could explain the Fiat horn button and the rims...plus this car has an ADX regn. (late 60s) so might be based on a 1100 D?
The gearbox again seems to be from a Herald, as I'd seen the gearstick the last time.

Steering wheel (and maybe dash?) appears to be Dolphin??

Looks to be the same car. IIRC, it had an MH-03 registration as well. The car has been featured here.

I fail understand why owners of these cars don,t want to sell them. I think they are mad in some way. If they are attached to these cars either they should prevent their cars from rotting or give these cars to any collector who will restore and give a new life to these cars. Atleast they can be happy that their car is taken care of and in good health. I hereby appeal to owners of all the junk cars to dispose them to prevent their cars from dying.
