Hello Sagar ,

This car is not in Lucknow , it is in the adjoining districts. Lucknow had 3 restored Balila's till last year . I understand one has been sold .

Regards
Chauhan

What a nice bus. Seems like a private registration ..
Technically can one own and run such a bus privately as it is a Private registration ?

I remember my old school bus (Chevrolet) owned AND driven by Faredoon "Uncle" Dalal, a stocky stern Parsi gent who put the fear of God in us. She was a BYL reg, with "Private Carrier" written on the roof, and black plates with white numbers.

More than a full fleged bus this would be a mini-bus, and could certainly have a private registration if it was privately owned and operated. On closer inspection the location could be Mahabaleshwar going by the red brick walls and pattern of rusting.

It's a sad feeling looking at a beautiful bus rotting away, I guess it is a complete and original bus which was parked aside to rot till it is fallen apart, is it still restorable if so nothing like it, a marvelous machine to see moving.

Feel sad for the blue Fiat. Seems like its completely neglected by the owners and left to rot on road.

This Fiat was in a construction site and is now thrown on the road probably for the scrappers to pick it up :(

Where Exactly are you talking about??
I'm as near to Hubli as can be, and i'm surprised that i don't even have a clue to the existence of these splits and bays...
