@Superselect/agspins: Thanks mates. I'll start the resto thread when she arrives here. You all will have to chip-in with suggestions/comments & with few dollars (LOL) & show me the road.
@Indrojit: Thanks, She will be transported by car's packer'n'mover. Cost 9000/- with delivery here in Mumbai. The guy knows me because of my survey jobs & I had helped him in auto accidental-claims once or twice. As I write this, She is getting her first wash & engine specs checked in Jsr {Cyrus sir are you reading }.
Clean pics will follow in a day or two.
@allana13: RTO is also my concern, need some guidance on that.
I have a friend's garage in Powai. Not a fiat specialist though. I'm open to suggestions on best garage for such job.
@manish: Will keep carb in mind. RTO suggestions pls.
Raab Rakha.

Hi Raab

Do NOT talk about the status of the registration book on a forum. You have no idea who reads this.
You have to get the original RC book and find the tax status over there, where registered. If the car has an Orissa registration and was found in Jamshedpur, then maybe there is a Jamshedpur local RTO entry in the book. You have to clear the back taxes over there, get an NOC and come to Mumbai with an upto date book. If that is not possible, then work on getting the book upto date, and do it properly and quietly.
Till the books are sorted out no point in starting a restoration, but you can go about aquiring parts.

Cheers harit

That is EXACTLY the route we took when we got the LHD. Waited till all the paperwork was in order. And then the next day she was in.

Ford Falcon valuation?

How much should the Ford Falcon sell for "as is"?

A Ford Falcon
Not actually rusting but not cared for & not used for around 10 years.
Its a station wagon with lots of space & so Its becoming a partying place for those drunkards who have no other place.

Here's the interesting part it is said that "Our American Muscle Ford Mustang" shares the same parts of this falcon. I think even the engine (V6).

Heres the sad part Unable to contact the owner.

Willys Station CAr - same as above

Morris Minor - I have taken up this car for restoration.

@Harit: Sir noted & will follow your advise. The car was registered in erstwhile bihar & now Jharkhand. I'll be the 2nd owner.

Dear Sonu - that's a good buy, perfectly restorable if done properly. Its a long and tedious process. Please PM me your contact number. Cyrus and I may be able to help you (if we can find the time).

Best regards,

most people would have bought this car as a parts car , nothing more. Mr ved prakash seems to the most passionate classic car lover ever. Sometimes it hurts so much to see a classic rot likr this ,brave people like him say , prcticality be damned. So is Mr Ved prakash based in delhi. If possible would love to see these cars first hand while hey are being restored

Mr. Jatti is there any specific reason for Mr.Ved to purchase these type of vehicles. Can you share the cost of purchase of these cars. I am eagerly waiting to know whats the reason for acquisition of these nearly dead cars. BTW which model Dodge is it and what is meant by fluid drive (written on the rear bumper).
