Magnicificant! This is very heartening to know. Its literally building that car from scratch. I hope the project would be a grand success. Please do keep us posted on further happenings. Pictures would be very generous too

Yes this is Wolseley 8 or 10 most probably post war 1946-48 models, they share similar body shell like Morris 8 E series. Wolseley cars were little upmarket brands of its time. One Wolseley 8 is seen in Ooty Vintage car rally black colour in nice condition and another well maintained Wolseley 10 with one of our Team-bhp friend KPS.

Wish its owner restore it or it goes to good collector.

Cheers!

Jamshedpur

Found these rotting away in Jamshedpur. Some are beyond the point of return. Did not get enough time to check on their status with owners. Hope fellow Bhpians from JSR can help us here:

The Millecento has several rare bits which need to be salvaged - front indicators, tail lights, especially the housings, rear number plate light, hub caps, grille, etc. Maybe the dash itself too ?
If anyone in Jamshedpur can organize this, it will be invaluable for millecento owners.

Are there any folk here from Jamshedpur

That Millecento looks good. Might be a easy project for some one to do.
From the outside it is mostly a orignal car.

Some more from Jamshedpur: NO INFO about their availability for sale but is trying to get more info. Will post further info here as soonest available.
But found out that most are being used by owners to claim fuel/car bills from their employers.

I feel very sad when I see such things( thease cars , thease persons). It is very disturbing .

those owners would have given them at least a decent Burial . Yes its not a joke I am serious. whats the point in keeping them like this ?

And why not , as they are dying a slow death , may be hundreds ,before they disintigrate completly & finally meet the Dust.

If its really done atleast the machines( & men like us) wont have the sufferings

Sudarshan

I am really disturbed with those 'Jamshedpur ' Heralds
