Buick 1930 Jaisalmer

I don't think this car is in Mumbai as the car which did come from Jaipur had disc wheels ...Stand to be corrected ..Black and Green Combination. A Maharashtrian Couple had got it for one of the VCCCI events.

An interesting subject for Team-BHP investigative journalism !

What is it buried in? Sand, silt, concrete?
I would imagine the garage flooded annually, year after year, gently depositing silt layer by layer, undisturbed by uncaring humans. What do you think?

Its immense pain to see a magnificant machine's death this way and getting burried slowly.

This is indeed a Rover.Wonder how the car is going underground! Very Pitiable! The body metal is still not much corroded. Is anyone restoring the car? I am posting a picture of this car seen by me in Kolkata a few months ago.

I will sincerely pray soon someone should come to the rescue of this car. if not restoration atleast salvage the car. Dig up the car from the grave its slipping in slowly atleast. This brings a thought there should be some assoiciation or a club to rescue these heritage cars from rather getting lost for ever.

This car was found by a member of HMCI , Mr.Ved Prakash and he has already rescued the car and he would be restoring the same. I have requested Mr.Ved Prakash to give me some photographs of the rescue operation, which I am sure would be fascinating, which I will share with all of you.

That is indeed excellent news!!

Kudos to the brave soul who made bold to resuce this car, most others would've taken it as a 'gone case' and backed off!

Yes, looking forward to the photos of course!
