Something very strange about this car. first Millecentos were 103, the Elegants were 103 E, the Select bodied cars have usually been 103 D series. Super Select (internationally Export and DeLuxe) cars have been 103 H series. 'Special' bodies were 103 G.

This car being 103 D should have an earlier suicide door body. Special bodied cars also didn't have Select fittings (except a few NSU Neckar German cars). This maybe a later adapter body. What is the regn number? We can then guess the date.

Either ways, nice find!

True, strangely this car's doors and hood appear to be borrowed from the 1100 Delight but the basic car body is the 1100 Millecento.

Looking at the front grille, it seems to be a Wolseley eight.

Yes indeed, a Wolseley 8 which came after the takeover of Wolseley by Morris. The frontal portion is distinctly Wolseley, whereas it shares its body with the 1940-48 Morris 8, its cousin. This one has lots of chromework especially on its front.

Poor Wolseley. The grille and headlights look to be in top notch condition, unblemished.
Why do people let such cars rot like this ?
Damn well sell it if you can't take care of it..

Shocking right .

Just look at the quality of chrome, That alone is sufficient to spur someone to buy that car.

Sadly its not getting sold.

Nice Wolseley 8, why the owners left in this condition. There was one Wolseley 8 seen in Ooty Vintage Car rally and Wolseley 10 in pristine condition with one of our fellow Team-BHP friend KPS. It has the same body shell of Morris-8 E.

All these parts can easily be sourced brand new (repros) today, atleast in Hyd./Delhi if the scooter is bought, so it is still very much worth salvaging.
