Ironically even God apparently couldnt help this car!

And also finally got to see these rather 'well-known' cars at a local abandoned petrol bunk here. The Adler has been talked about in this thread:

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/post-1...el-beetle.html

This is one pre-war car that I found myself really liking! Especially love that Eagle (Adler in German, which is what the name means) badge!

Any idea what the maroon/white car is in front of it?

There is no such thing there, so could be just a personal dispute.
So the family members, apparently too busy in the infighting, are not bothered about the state of the cars. I wonder how much longer this will go on! :(

Muzzamil, please read my above post.
And the information on the location too already has been shared before- they are at the unused petrol bunk opposite the secratariat, beside the flyover, it comes on the left side as you go towards Mediciti Hospital/Hotel Sarovar/British Library etc.

This Austin sedan has been lying in a workshop in Pune for ages. As usually happens, the property has now been cordoned off, possibly for redevelopment. The Austin has been dragged outside, I do not know its fate.

I don't think this car will classify as a vinatge or a classic car.

This car was lying at a dealers at Kemps Corner from almost the last one and a half to two years. The tranny is busted. I offered a reasonable price but he was looking for an arm and a leg. We know now that he didnt get anything. Sad. Everything else including interiors was top notch.

Traveller, not estate

Yup, she's an original Morris Minor Traveller. These cars were very prone to rust. Anyway, this example seems far beyond economic restoration.

A genuine estate, plus late model. A shame, since I have never seen another commercial estate in India before.

The Traveller I would think would only refer to the wooden slatted versions, for private use. This commercial variant would probably be termed a Handyman or panelvan or something of the sort.

I too have seen this for the first time. The place is very near to the famous Scrap yard of Bangalore. I believe there is dispute going on and that's the reason the she remains there.
