Funny thing about the last pic from India has the windshield wipers facing left to right! has that car been converted. Like many recent grey imported merc and other cars brought in 1988 through now etc

@ajay99 wow! so much details? i think there is a similar car (much worse condition) lying in a house adjacent to GG hospital,Pattom.

When i spotted the car i posted i first thought its the same one.

the car was spotted near NH byepass to kovalam, where you can see loads of old age cars (especially ambys). Also saw a couple of Merc W123s and a W124 lying in a workshop.

the car you are mentioning near GG hospital is a 1953 standard vanguard belonging to a former arms dealer .

This particular model is quite in vogue now days, in certain parts of europe looks very attractive painted yellow or a german orange. Plus the Fast back shape is a an added advantage.

Have been seeing a Nissan Cedric rot inside a house for a while. A few weeks back, it was moved on to the road outside the house. I took a few snaps of that car yesterday. Will put them up tomorrow.

Also a couple of old mercs, a millicento & a toyota Cressida are parked right across the road from my house. Have taken pics of them too. Wait till tomorrow.
