Yes its the 300C and the Goenka Studebaker will probably be there with another Chrysler if I am not mistaken

Deepak, Nice to read that your family La Salle will be shown. Manvendra had asked for this car a year ago, but at that time I believe the family was not keen. No efforts are required to get this beauty an entry. If the family has decided, she will appear. For selected cars there are no deadlines. Your comment about owners not being co operative is quite unfair. Many would have happily sent their cars. They were waiting for Manvendra to speak to them, that never happened. SO , please dont blame owners for cars worthy of display not showing up. Apart from the cars you mention, I know of many more, so does Manvendra. But, they were not invited .

The press conference is today at the Bhaudaji Lad Museum in Mumbai I think. A very Fitting venue and place. Hope the list is out whats being displayed.

The former Jaipur Buick could have been a worthy entrant from South. It makes me wonder why this car was not chosen over the other cars?

Considering the current shortlisted list from Bangalore, most seem to be just making up the numbers for the event. I still believe the final list from Bangalore will be pruned, which is good considering the focus remains on the better cars coming to the event.

Bikaner car not Jaipur. Cheers it's a six cylinder one . Nice anyways . One was recently restored in the east and stunning .

LOL..they are the starts of the show ...at least one will be there and will win the best of show award whihc is the standard operating procedure !

Well! that means no one knows if both Napiers will be fielded... one will surely be there and that's common knowledge by now... BTW, this pre-event declaration and foregone conclusion of one being a de facto winner is indeed interesting. Cheers!

Appeared in the Times of India , Mumbai page 8 . It was part of the cars and bikes displayed at the Press Conference .

Kasli, Todays Bombay Samachar, Indian Express and Afternoon also have carried pictures of Dnyanesh's beautiful bike, Yash's MG and Viveck's Packard. All three gentlemen of course are members of this forum. Interestingly the Indian Express mentions that Manvendra is Director, Cartier, India and the middle east. If this information is correct, One wonders if it is ethical on the part of the curator/director of Cartier, to enter cars which he has restored to compete for prizes. Maybe I come from the old school , these days anything seems acceptable.
