edsuede Thank you Chanu

The scooter certainly glistens on a sunny day - the photo does not do the shine from the paintwork justice!

If anyone is interested in learning more about the AF Rayspeed S Type custom style then I recommend they google either 'Lambretta S Type' or 'AF S Type' there is even a facebook site dedicated to them I'm told!

edsuede Hi Howler

Yes, it goes very fast - have not taken it to the max but have had 75 mph out of it without too much effort. The acceleration is fantastic - always have a smile on my face when I'm on a safe, clear, open road :)

The scooter was originally an Indian machine restored in Indian to standard 200cc specification and imported by a leading UK dealer. I rode the scooter like that for a while until it got a little tatty - a good excuse to then strip and modify it!

edsuede Hi Ariesonu

Sorry for the late reply - only just noticed your comment - Thank You for the compliment about my Vijay. Unfortunately I do not have any close up photos at present and with the UK being in the middle of the worst winter since 1962 at the moment I won't be taking any soon :) In the spring next next year I will get some more photos taken and will post them here.

Ed
