Please suggest! Alloy Wheels for a Coffee Brown Swift

Hello BHPians,

I am posting this query for my friend. He is doing up his 3 year old Swift and need better wheels and tires. The car is repainted in Coffee Brown color. He wants to go for white wheels and my suggestion was to go for a Brown (Lenso Samurai) or a Gold/Copper finish wheel. Now we are confused on what to decide. Can you guys give some suggestions on the upgrade - White, Brown or Golden? Suggestions on tires are also welcome. The width is going to be 205 section on 15"/16" rims.

The color of the Swift

Go for a contrast. White = 1st choice. Dark silver = 2nd choice.

Agree with GTO. Coffee brown with white deep dish will look stunning. For Swift there are plenty of choices.

Thanks guys. We will finalize white.

How about the wheel dia? 15" or 16"? He drives more on highways (around 40k per year) and is a heavy foot. Is it good to stick to 15" or is 16" manageable?

Edit: These are the tire sizes shortlisted. (PS: Car is ZXi variant and the stock size is 185/70R14. Car is currently running on 195/60R14)
205/55R15 (Circumference difference -> '-1.32%')
205/60R15 (Circumference difference -> '+2.02%')
205/50R16 (Circumference difference -> '-0.52%')
205/55R16 (Circumference difference -> '+2.81%')
Which size is ideal?

Thanks Rudra. So it is 15".

Now the next question. Which tire? 205/55R15 (Circumference difference -> '-1.32%') or 205/60R15 (Circumference difference -> '+2.02%') ?

205/60 R15 is a wrong size for the Swift. Your only options are 205/55 R15 and 195/60 R15.

Thanks Nikhil.

So it is going to be a 15" White Wheel (6.5J) and the tire is going to be 205/55R15. I will update about the brands after my discussion with the dealer.

It is good finally you decided for the white. Brown to brown will be matching but not attractive. So white or silver will be the best match. Let you give the brand you selected and the price you paid. I do would like to go for one set soon for Ritz with same rim size. That will help me too.

I say try on both hyper silver and white and then make a choice. I feel hyper silver will be a good choice for that color.

I just discussed with the dealer and the tire is going to be Yoko S-Drive.

Anyone heard about the brand "ion"? How good are they? That is the wheel he suggested me to go for (multi-spoke white with chrome lip).

These are some of the 15" white wheels I could find in the market. I am really not sure about the make. (Dealer said, "Avant-Garde Handsome", "Ion", "Evo", etc. are the makes).

The five spoke one looks Segggzaaa! Infact all of the above look good and would pretty much go with the swift. So close your eyes and pick one of them.

finally.. going for 15" Lenso NX (Brown with Chrome lip). If it does not look good, will be changing the color to white.

Good choice of wheels. However, just wanted to know, since you have finalized on 15" X 6.5" rims with 205/55/R15 tires; what is the offset of the rim?
