Yup it is "195/70-14", was particular about "70" and sadly ER60 is not available in that profile...

I have seen 195/70-14 Turanza ER60. on a Qualis.

Turanza ER60 is available in maximum sizes. Hence, its the most popular model in Turanza series.

Wish it was available in 185/65-14 as well.

They are asymmetrical tires and comes as an OEM fitment with Aveo and Altis.

I haven't driven any car with ER300 so can't comment.

No special offers as of now. The price difference is about 450 Rs.

I am planning to change 2 Front Tyres of my Ikon 1.3, 35K kms, 2.5 years old.
I plan to fit ER-60 on the stock Rims itself. The sizes could be 175/70/13 which is the stock size, or it could be 185/70/13.
i have few question regarding this.

(1) if i go for 185 size, will it fit on the OE Rims ?

(2) Given that i am planning to change only front 2 tyres, will there will be any negative impact on cornering or braking stability? given that rear tyres would be less grippier than the front ones.

(3) What price (if any) should i expect for my Goodyear GPS2 OE tyres on a possible buyback?

I suggest Michelin XM1+ though!

Anyway, 185/70 R13 will fit perfectly well on your stock rims. Your stock size is 175/70 R13.

It is advisable to change all 4. Otherwise, you wont feel the difference the better quality rubber has to offer. If oyu are going to change only two, you may as well buy the GPS2s again, crappy as they are.

You will not get a decent offer on your old tyres. Goodyears are dirt cheap to begin with and used tyres, even more so. Expect about a 100/- per tyre if they have some tread left.

I agree that changing 2 tyres is not that good an idea. But lets see what my budget permits.
But i am assuming that you mean that stability and braking should not be affected negatively.

Regarding choosing between ER60 and XM+, going through the comparison thread i was more inclined towards the ER60. The reason was a better cornering grip as stated by some of the users.

pkumar, Turanzas are MUCH better to XM1+ when it comes to bad roads....other features wise both the tyres match up...
