Hi Guys,

My octavia has done 50000 kms and its already on the verge of getting new footwear for the third time.......
right now its on pilot precedas 205/60 r15 on l&k alloys and i maintain 30 psi on all four tyres .
I drove my friends skoda the other day fitted with stock rims and stock tyres (gy nct-5) and i felt the steering was much lighter than mine . I think i am not maintaining the right tyre pressure.
What should be the correct tyre pressure for skoda fitted with above spec tyres coz i feel the wear might be coz of wrong air pressure.
please suggest

The stock NCT5's are 195's , aren't they ? A tyre upsize could also result in a heavy steering.
My Baleno steering became distinctly heavier at standstill/low speeds when I switched from 185 NCT5s to 195F1s - although the tyre pressure in the F1s was 30 compared to the 27/28 I used to maintain for the NCT5s.

Guys please help as having difficulty finding out the right tyre pressure ..........spoken to my tyre dealer even he doesnt know the right tyre presuure for the upsize tyres fitted onto my car.

the right tyre pressure for skoda octavia is 30 psi all round. no matter weather u upsize or maintain the stock size.
