Hey everyone,

Our GLS has run 38k & one of the tyres is badly worn-out during which we saw that almost all the tyres inner side is worn-out. I am not sure how we could have avoided it except thinking may be along with rotation of tyres also changing it inside-out could have helped but anyway when we checked the market, we could not find matching size (OEM is 275/50 R20) due to the govt ban apparently & only available size was 285/50 R20 which was around 3% more which hopefully is acceptable (checking with Benz if it effects warrany) but even if they say it will impact, we have no other choice to keep the vehicle running.

The choices we got was Yokohoma (45k per tyre) & another China Brand posing as UK (37k) which looks very steep. Hence thought of asking the forum if there are any other choices or options in chennai market?

Why don't you get them changed my MB itself, they will have stock size for sure. Otherwise go for the Yokos don't try any imposter brand

Try Madhu's. They can source, if not, you can check with Karan- 9971099239. He ships across the country and can source for you if not in stocks from overseas.
