as i mentioned earlier, i had to make a few cuts to the bumper to get this fit. Now i don't have any problems. but i have not checked the turning radius, donno whether it affects it? I am using 255/65 Hankook dynamics.

urgent advice needed

Hello Gurus,

I require a price check on the following deal on a set of brand new NEO alloys ( Bunch BM ) for the Safari. The distributor is quoting 22K for a set of 5 alloys. Am I paying fair price?

I would be going in the morning to check this out and get the alloys if the fit is perfect. Need to be armed with the correct pricing inputs.

Thank you all.

Has anyone considered spinners for the Safari? I know Neo makes them in 16"s. Or will they not look good? Neo also has a new model called Clam which I liked a lot.

I got my 275-70 R16 Yoko Geolander AT II+ for around 6K. Safari size should be cheaper I guess. Awesome tyres in most conditions.

Gears,

Good choice with Pearl White but please retain the grey bumper and cladding. You'll find a little too many chips on the bumpers with time and it would be painful touching up every so often.

Plus, I think the grey bumpers on a Pearl White Safari look good.

I think Geolander A/T II has been discontinued, YOKOHAMA INDIA comes with Geolander A/T S.

Alloys for my 2012 Dicor

Hi Friends,

I have a very simple requirement. I have a 2012 safari dicor and want to know about the various alloy designs that can go into my stock bridgestone 16 inchers.

I prefer negative off-set alloys as they give a broad look to the stock tyres. My Beast just clocked 1000 kms and i anyways am not eligible to get the full value of the tyres , also one more reason for keeping the stock tyres is that i dont want to tamper with any stock fitment on a TATA product except the alloys.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Alloys for Safari Dicor

When my friend bought the safari which did not came with Alloys, we briefly discussed what sort of alloys would suit the car, and both felt the stock alloys look much better than anything else that we had seen so far. Whatever i have seen either looks too loud or too timid and does not go well with overall image of the car. He went ahead and bought original Safari alloys from KHT motors even though the price of them were on the higher side as compared to some other alloys available elsewhere.
