upgrading tyres and alloys for swift vxi in chennai

hi bhpians

this is my first thread in this comunity. as many ppl in chennai are suggesting bm lal of whites raod and lal brothers of lyods road i think they both are real expensive and both have hr alloys which i think is a good alloy wheel. the problem is that i am so confused as to what tyre and alloys to upgrade for vxi according to gurus in this field they are suggesting 195/60/15 for the upgrade but lal brothers says that this tyre will brush the wheel arches and the tyre may get dammged if 4 ppl sit in the car. bu i still insisted on him to show me the tyre. he said that the only tyre available in this size is from bridgestone which he is asking for 3600 per tyre. is this a good price and he is charges for 15 inch alloys of hr make 4200 per weel is this also a gud bargain. he says no other maufaturer does 195/60/15 tyres. can anyone suggest to me an other tyre. if anyone knows sum gud alloy wheel dealer in chennai pls sms me teir nos to 944493447 or u can reply to me as well their numbers.
pls help me in this regard

cheers

ravi

195/60 R15 will not brush your wheel arches if the stock 185/70 R 14 don't. They have almost the same OD. But then you will be compromising on ride. You may also be losing your suspension warranty accoring to the maruti dealers.

4200 per alloy is a little too much you should get it atleast 300 cheaper, but then this might be a different design that is in huge demand.

Speedo Error

I just bought a swift vxi with abs. I got the alloys fitted at Majestic tyres chennai. 14" rims with 185/60/14 tyres. Now i noticed that the speedo is overreading. What do i do....can the speedo be recalibrated?

That is the mistake.
The ideal size should have been 185/70/R14
