Wanna retain the stock alloys of Renault Pulse which came with 175/65 R15 Bridgestone as OE. Tires look a bit puny and did not like the Bridgestone design

What is the best upsize ? 185/195 if I have to retain the stock alloys ( why IMHO looks great).

What is the width of the rims? Take out a rim (spare) and find out the width. 5.5 inch/6 inch etc...

You should ascertain the max width only after that.

175/60R15 upsize options will be 195/55R15 (+0.76%)
175/65R15 upsize options will be 195/60R15 (+1.07%)

Hi jkdas,

I think 185/65R15 will do good for your pulse however, considering that these are 15" you can upsize it further to 195 as well. I would recommend 185/65. My i20 sportz has 185/65 R14 and they are perfect in terms of grip and mileage.

Get 195/60 R15. It is the proper upsize and the thicker tyres will make the car look much less undertyred than the 175. Not to mention your grip will be better and it won't really affect your FE.

Heads up! Its a tough job to get dealers to take OE 175/60 and give you an upsize of 195/55! According to them, few cars use 175/60 and not much choice of 195/55.

I had no problems in exchanging my OE tyres and rims at BM LAL tyres in chennai.
Their overall service was very good. When i complained about the road noise on Hankook tyres he readily accepted to change them at no extra cost.

Outside of the 3% tolerance limits. There is a 12mm rolling radius difference between stock and 195/60, which is a 4% difference.

Sometimes, the car (i.e. suspension, bodywork) will tolerate it and only problem will be speedo error. In that case, shouldn't be too much of an issue. I am not sure the Micra is that kind of car.

Might be a bit much, but theres a good chance it will fit fine. I suggest you stick to 195/55.
