LT Wheels ?? My friend that is clearly Aura's Silkmesh Design which has been discontinued / withdrawn over 2 years back. The HIL on that cap reads : Hindalco Industries Limited. You bought it quite expensive, the last that this design was billed to dealers was 10,500 for a set of 5 wheels for 13" size.

Stock is 175/70/13
so i deal upsize is 185/60/14,195/55/14(No tyres available in this size).
195/50/15.(ride quality will go for a toss).
so I am sticking to 185/60/14

I was quite contemplating on the name of those wheels myself as I had originally bought them a few years back when they were in stores, when I was least bothered with the brand of the wheels and focused solely on the design. I might have overpaid then, but I hardly did care at that time.... oh and yes the '4' was a typo, it was for a set of 5. Appreciate the heads up

9thsphinx: You're right - did trade in stock MRFs and asked Advaith Hyundai to pitch in with another 9 odd K. Deal was on two cars and got a bunch of things done free considering that our family has picked up 12-14 Hyundai cars in the past 36-48 months.
Karan - hope that clarifies things.
Will post detailed report as a get some time.

Brings back memories - I had these on my Zen '98 & Astra 2000, worked great, grip vs stock tyres was great & wet weather traction was fairly good.

I drove in the rains in 2000 Delhi - Mussorie. No problem

Cheers

Akshay,

I currently have the following mods:
Automech freeflow,
Pipercross airfilter,
Castrol edge synthetic oil,
NGK Irridium plugs

I am planning to go for Tri-phase and would like to get your opinion
on it. I think you also have a Getz and have tri-phase installed.

I am currently getting a mileage of about 10 - 11 in city and about
12-13 on highways (with about 40% of AC). I would like to know
how much a tri-phase would impact on the mileage.

Also the car behaves as if it has split personalities with AC ON and OFF.
Even after all these modifications, when the AC is ON, one can clearly
see a difference in the way it pulls, though it has become much better
after these modifications. Also on the highway, once it reaches 100,
it really struggles to push it further up. One of my friend once commented
that his Santro is much better in pulling than my car. Anyways I would
like to know if tri-phase would solve the problem atleast to some
extent. Thank you.

Get Hyper Silver. Forget about chrome. They're tough to maintain, and they look a little loud and tacky, IMO.

If your car was a neutral colour like white, grey, black or silver, you could even have considered hyper black rims for a meaner, snazzier look, but hyper black won't look good on a maroon coloured car.

tyre size will be 185/60/14.

I am getting these both in Chrome and Silver finish.
which one should I go for.I am more inclined towards Silver.
