Very sharp eye itzzme, what is an Ice and Snow tyre doing in Bangalore? It will be noisy and have less grip.

These are now available all over the country as a lot of old stock is being imported from Europe. They are older tyres and are studless Snow type. Popular brands are Yokohama, GT, Bridgestone etc.
These are mainly sold to the taxi market (read Indica) since they are very cheap & are available at around the Rs. 800-1200 per tyre price point. Whereas a normal tyre will cost around 2500-2800.
And yes, they are certainly not suited for our conditions.
Great looking mags Dippy. clap:High time you put some brawny wheels on the car. The studs on the wheel look great and I think the Grey looks fab with the Champagne gold fo your car. Nice choice of tyres too. You could have gone upto 205s though.
Superb Alloys Suren. Red car - Black rims...my kinda setup. Actually my kinda set up is any colour car - Black rims. Enjoy both of you.
Is 15" a good choice of alloy size for the new Palio, because they come with measly 13". But finding a range of 98pcd alloys is going to be tough.
15" is not a good option for the Palio. There are very high chances of the tyres fouling with the wheel arches especially at the rear. Stick to 14".
my fried had got it for me not sure from where but yes it does make some noise got it changed to MRF ZVTS and its much much better now....
:)
@ itzzme,
not sure about snow tyres bro new to all this one of my friend had got this for me...
@ Samurai,
Yes they make a lot of noise and also the road grip is very less...
My bro asked me to chage this as there was no grip and noise to changed it to MRF ZVTS which is much much better now...

The chances of 15" tires fouling with the wheel arches are only possible if you get 205 section tires.Stick to 195/50R15 or 195/55R15 tires and you wont face any tire fouling problems.have been running on 195/55R15 for the last 6k kms and havent faced any problems.
It's fine even with 5 people & luggage Abhimanyu? 205 I know for sure scrapes with full load.
Hey i liked that lenso.. its impressive.. where did u get them from:)

I see that your sienna came with 175/65R14 as stock so your wheel wells may be accommodating the 15" without a problem but the new Palio comes with 13" stock so can the wells take the 15"ers?
i couldnt get the pictures uploaded correctly in the last post:)
