Your car looks really good mate & the design of the alloys is also well suited to the ride. Congrats on owning a fabulous looking car

Thank you webblescott.
I have booked the Duster, so was looking for alloys. I want to increase the width of the tyres but dont want to compromise the ride quality by upgrading to 17".
Has your friend noticed any variation in the ride quality coz of 17" alloys ?

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Looking for some alloys for a Scorpio. What are my options in Bangalore. Was quoted 27000 for a set of 5 for GTR and 29000 for a set of 4 Advanti. Are these good deals? It included fitting, wheel alignment and balancing. Please advise. Much appreciated.

With a heavy heart, I had to let go of this combo due to noticeable drop in comfort on rough roads. On wet and dry flat tarmac, they were awesome. I'm still missing them

The one thing that FIAT has got right in our market, is it's choice of alloy designs.

That's a sweet looking combo! Suits the i20 perfectly

You mentioned about a drop in comfort. Can you elaborate on that? And do mention the changed in FE if you've experienced if any. Cheers!

I did not face noticeable drop in FE though physics says there would be some difference with the larger profile of tyres but nothing I had to investigate about at all.

On the comfort front, again thats a given fact as well and most importantly my then expecting wife was not feeling good when driven around Bangalore roads. In short the suspension felt tighter and hence more bouncy effect. Stock profile did give some solace.

Imported Korean spec OE Alloy wheels on my 2005 Hyundai Elantra 1.8 GT.

The tyres are stock Innova size Michelin Energy XM1+ ones. 205/65 R15 H as the alloys are wider than the ones found in the Indian spec.

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Guys, sorry for this is not my own set of wheels. I noticed this swift sporting alloys by Plati but interestingly there was "O.Z" engraved on it. Is this a model which Plati makes or is the owner trying to pull a fast one on the onlookers?

P.S. The O.Z engraving is visible on the bottom left spoke. Sorry for the bad image quality. It was taken using a mobile phone and the car was in motion.
