will changing to such a size hamper the off road abilities of the Fortuner?

Yes. Torque will decrease considerably. However, these cars are rarely taken offroad.

also the lower profile of the tyre will damage the el cheapo looking alloys big time during an OTR.

Its my uncle's sold out pajero with OZ wheels. No idea about the cost. sorry for all poor quality pics. took with a 2 MP cam fone. :(




& He finally bought his dream ride which has its OEM wheels. The H3



I am yet to upgrade my swiftys stock shoes & wheels

That Fortuner looks bad and cheap with those wheels, bad choice for a nice looking machine.

Guys after i got the rims & tyres whenever im doing 120-130 the steering vibration & a lot of bubbling is there. I've got the balancing done thrice but the problem is still there. Please help.

Rotate the wheels and see if the problem persists.

Welcome to TBHP.

I think this is first santro I have seen with 15 inchers and 45 profile.
Howaz the ride quality, pretty harsh/stiff, I suppose!!!

BTW, good design on wheels, goes perfectly well with the car.
