Thanks dude. Actually I didn't bother with exact prices of the tyres and rims.
I just told Iqbal (owner of Karan Tyres, Karol Bagh, New Delhi) to give me a number and I went with it.
Like I mentioned earlier, I gave in 4 of my old ZXi alloys (which were in near-perfect, scratch-less condition, even after 55k kms) and he gave me Rs 6k off! So the price was actually Rs 36k and the effective price turned out to be Rs 30k.
At Rs 36k, you can calculate the price at Rs 4500 per tyre and Rs 4500 per rim.

Thanks Jav, Went through a lot of designs before i settled on these. Really wish I had gone in for a lower profile. But i love them anyway :).

Hi, definately agree wrt the 195/60s but have not noticed too much of a difference in the ride quality or the handling after raising the suspension. It was either that or get a new set of tyres.

Guys, thought this is a good place to alert all of you to keep checking the condition of the allen key style wheel lug nuts used to secure your alloys!
It seems a lot of these aftermarket wheel lug nuts are of very poor quality - rust easily which could cause jamming of the nut (preventing removal of the wheel) or even cracking with time :-(
After my experience, I have gone back to OEM wheel nuts, as I never had to replace even one of them in 5 years before I changed to alloy wheels and these poor quality alley key style nuts. To paraphrase, all that's shiny in the beginning, need not be good quality!

Manan,
There are some new designs in the Samurai series. I saw a hyperblack version at a dealer here in Chennai. So guess they have expanded beyond 01,02 etc.
Vivek,
Car looks hot. Are you buying the i20 ?
