Finally I changed my HR chrome and black alloys. Had not much choice and too little time. White was not acceptable, black and chrome too common, hyper silver is too yesterdays, black too sporty, grey/gun metal was good but not available. Had to settle for this.

Alloys: Lenso Samurai
Tyres: Yokohama S Drive 205/50R15

Cost: 23500 for four Alloys
4500per tyre.

Nopes, someone bought them with the tyres - I presume he owns an amusement park and is using them on those eccentric / bumpy ride toy trains/cars for kids.

If your budget permits buy OE Linea/GP alloys (15") from the Fiat showroom/A.S.C. they might cost around Rs.8K each. 160 sounds a wee bit narrow, I think you can go up to 195, IMHO 205 would be too wide, wider tyres mean harder steering, ride and additional friction causing loss of performance and FE. Remember to use the tyre upsize calculator while deciding the tyre size and do not exceed 3% of the original dia. if you exceed 2-3%, car will feel like a tugboat.

yupp, sagar spoke to ritesh only, know him a bit well as most of my friends have picked up the alloys from him.

he wasnt too confident of getting aura wheels and was like he will try only upon adv payment.

anyways since sagar is planning on using the car only for a year, have advised him to chuck the idea of alloys and upgrade to decent 185 size rubber.

we enquired about the alloys in malik and concorde about the gp alloys, both have no clue from when they will be available.

I just spoke to Sagar and advised him exactly the same thing. To go in for upsized tyres on the OE steel wheels. A 195 70 R14 or 195 65 R 14 would replace the OE 165 80 R 14s nicely. Does not make sense to spend more as he plans to use the car for one year only.

Cheers,

@Danlalan: The tyres look good, but are a bit toooo black! I think getting a dark red line on the alloy lip would improve looks and match the cars color too.

The Tyres are fine. The spoiler is really spoiling the look IMHO!

I agree... the spoiler looks a little out of place... and kinda oversized for the car. Also, see if you can pick up an OVRM for the left hand side. The absence of one looks a little odd.

I guess this is the LX (LXi) model. All VX(i) models have LHS and RHS mirrors. Also, from M.A.S.S I picked up a OEM mirror for 750 Just in case you are interested.
