Good experience with Madhus Enterprises

I got introduced to Nikhil2008 of Madhus through Team BHP.
They are located at the Langford road, starting point of Double(KH) Road.

I got new tyres for my new(now old :-) Honda City 2005.
Nikhil was very knowledgable, helpful and prompt in his service.
He gave me a special "Team BHP"
Discount on the tyre price as well as for balancing, alignment and nitrogen.

He advised me on the best upgrade option, asked which tyre I would like to go with and the tyres were ready when I visited the shop.
With the number of customers he had at the time when I visited, I must says that he managed to delight me with his service. Not only me, other customers were also getting prompt service.

Nikhil personally gets involved with the work, he gets his hands dirty (literally), this ensures his technicians are always on the toe.

Good experience at Madhus

(I tried to post this one. pardon me if this is a repeat).

I got introduced to Madhus through Team-BHP (nikhil2008).
I called Nikhil before going there. He was knowledgeable and helpful.
He listened to me attentively, answered all my questions in detail,
and quoted reasonable prices over the phone.
He also asked what tyre I would like to have so that he can keep it ready when when I reached their shop, the tyres were kept ready.

There were too many customers, though every customers were being served attentively. Nikhil personally gets involved with the work, he gets hands dirty(literally!). This also helps to keep the other technicians on toe.

Over all, a very pleasant experience.

I have got the same treatment even before I became a T-BHP member from Tyre Professionals (another branch owned by Nikhil), since I used to work in a company very close to it. And I have found that this is there even with just the supervisor around (he is always around! )

This kind of approach seems to be the way they work.

So, it is no surprise that you had such a pleasant experience.

I'm glad .

However, please dont say things like "another branch owned by Nikhil"! I feel a little awkward. It is all my dad's and mom's sweat and hardwork. Today, I'm at an age where I can do my bit to help them. You can say owned by Nikhil's family if you want

lol... you are going to ruin the ride totally with that.

I suggest you go for 15" wheels and 205/55 R15 tyres.

Is the tyre profile for Zen/Santro/Lancer ? Just checkout the shops @ JC Road. Ther's one shop next to Hotel Nandini ( after the minerva signal). Don't remember the shop, he used to stock Good year tyres.

165/80 R13 is a Palio size if I remember correctly. They are in very very short supply for sure.

I need to upgrade my tyres on my Matiz. However, my mechanic said that I need to change the rims as well. Any pointers to help me out with the rims and tyres?

Tyre professionals are truly professional at their Service. Got a bill and wheel alignment reminder after 5K kms. These kind of services stand out from the crowd. A big thanks to Nikhil for saving me from a big mesh of buying some unknown alloy wheel brand. Also, got a good deal for tyre exchange as well! I strongly recommend Tyre professionals in Bangalore. I am sure other shops also good in service like RV road.

If you want to go in for tubeless the rust on the rims would cause air leakage. I got the rust on the rims filed off and painted on the inside with primer. they are fine for lat 1 year. IIRC 155/70/13 Mich XM1s. great tyres.

alternative go for tubed.

Sure, let me check with Santosh if I can salvage my stock rims.
