Recommended pressure for petrol, 33 psi all around. Swift D 36 front and 33 rear. This is company specified for 165 80 14, real life you can go 3 pounds less safely especially riding around with only 2 people. Mileage might be less by a fraction of kpl

i want the review on Falken tyres i am looking at 185/70-R14 tyres for my swift LDi i am going to put them on my stock wheels. I was quoated 2750 per tyre. I dont remember the pattern i will get back with the pattern he quoated by tomorrow.

have any one used these?

i am running the stock 165/80-R14 tyres from JK and i am looking for good VFM tyres with in 3K per tyre budget for a set of four, any other good brands in this budget is also appreciated.

well at first i shod it with 195/60-R15 MXV8 michelins on 7J alloys from league, but i found better use for these and i am back to stock on this beast, i really need some wider rubber, but budget being the constraint, i am forced to screen the brands like the michelins, yokos and the likes.



the last time, i mean last week, i checked the 185/70-R14 from michelins the XM1+s was like 3600 per tyre, owing to the fuel price hikes.




i was looking at Falkens, apollos and goodyears, any good tyres in these brands i mean VFMs, and good experiences from any of these brands?

after having used MXV8s i think i would want decent performance and VFM, thank you for all the HELP in advance guys.

Yoko A drive 185/70-14 are around 3200 per tire..Check if apollo aceleres are available in that size, if they are, then it would be under 3k per tire.
Avoid Falkens.

I agree with Kpzen.
stay away from falkens 185s R14. I have used them on my petrol swift. grip is good for the 1st 10K kms, then they fade away pretty quickly. surprisingly quickly.
They are very good for drifting and tailslides.
definitely not safe in the wet, or after 10K

i was quoated like 2600 per tyre for apollo aceleres but in the past i have had bad experiences with them so i was a little skeptical about that brand.

Thats too wide...get 6j or 6.5j...
With 7.5j the wheels might scrape and ride quality will be bad.

Nope. Fuel price woes have made me take bullock carts to work. Strong bullocks at that. Amazingly stiff suspension and drive-by-wire. You wont believe the new horn mechanism.
