Rates seem to be 600Rs on the higher side. I changed my Santro to Accelere for 2200Rs a piece.

600/- is bogus.

At the most the rates would have varied by 100/- or so. No way anyone would have got 185/60R13 Acelere for 2200/-. Impossible.

BTW, it's not safe to run those tyres on the OEM rims. You can see ho0w the tyres are squeezed into the narrow rim.

Price depends on tire size and width. So 165-70 will be cheaper than 185-60

Well tyre dealer here quoted me Rs1800 for 155/70 R13 and Rs2000 for 155/65 R13. Any idea why there is a difference of Rs 200 in the price ?

Because it's lower profile!

Most times lower profile costs a bit more.

Infractions: 0/1 (5)

They should be 5J rims

Tanveer ran that size on his indica ( same rims ) without issues

155/65 R13 is ok for Wagon R rim because the VXi version comes with 155/65 R13 anyway.

I run 185/60R13 on my indica stock rims. This is the max those rims can take. 195 is overstretching it
