I am game Kaushik. But I do not think there are many Bhp-ians in Guwahati. It would be better if we (you, Robi, me and the others) just coordinate through PM, rather than starting a new thread. What say? By the way, I will be home from 16th January till the 31st.

One really wonders after watching these pictures, how little we have seen of our beautiful country. This is already in my wishlist. Insha Allah will try and go there at least once in this lifetime. Thanks for the pics again. Could you please let me know which camera did you use.
Allah be praised. May your wishes come true.

The Feeling's mutual, Neel385. I was there as well in 1985-86 in Tenga Valley. Those days there used to be a great Dosa shop (more of a shack) at Bhalukpong somewhere near the TCP, where everyone going up or down used to stop for a bite, is it still around?

Thanks to RobiMahanta its 'Yesterday Once More' for guys like Neel and myself.

Robimahanta,
Excellent pics and a great travelouge. Aruncachal seems to be FANTASTIC. Some of those roads though leave a lot to be desired.

I liked hkborah's pics too.

Oh boy! I would love to go there, but this places is a huge distance away from where I am, and also getting a break from the rat race is another problem to cater to... Hope I am able to do this trip sometime.

I have been following the Leh threads so far, now I am going to search for the Arunachal threads...

Hi!! Excellent triplogue with excellent photos make this thread a 5 star read. Far east has always been a place on my list to visit and hopefully we would be doing it sooner or later.

My dad was posted at Narangi camp (Guwahati) and from there we did visit Shillong, cherapunji etc etc but never got the chance to explore ArP fully. One day I shall!!!

Also can you kindly chart out the route on google map or maybe point out the places on google earth so that we can see where exactly this beutifull place is situated in our lovely country

Thanks & regards

Dear Deky, you can google for places like Tawang, Bomdila, Nameri National Park and locate the same in the map. They are marked in the map and as Indians we should be comfortable with the overall geography of our country even if it is in the North-East.

Yes, for the best route/ route guidance, I am sure Robi will be more than willing to help.
