| Re: Swifted : Ooty Day 03 19th August 2012 We tried to form a train    That's the team minus me   Kiddies had a nice time there     mjothi gets another click for the album   It was nearly 13:10 hours and since there was a train reaching LoveDale by 13:33, we decided to move away from the tracks. Any time the train could come. We positioned ourselves at a comfortable place to watch the train pass by. We were really having an overdose of Ooty trains  Ooty train passing through Ketti The next train will pass here in another 45 minutes, but we had enough of the trains for now. continued... |

| Re: Swifted : Ooty Day 03 19th August 2012 Who is taller? Starvegabond asks us   Our steeds waiting for us   Ketti Railway Station    We left Ketti by 13:30 and returned back to Lovedale. We returned back to Lovedale. In 2009 the roads ahead of Lovedale were not in great shape. I wanted to do a loop back to Ooty through that roads. This year the roads were splendid and I decided to take the team through the scenic route back to Ooty after visiting Emerald and Avalanche lakes. This meant we are going in for around 50KM of drive including beautiful 34 hairpin bends  The route was LoveDale - Kundah - Avalanche -Emerald - Ooty Somewhere on the route we stopped to buy some junk food for lunch! It was 14:00 hours then.   We have reached Emerald. It was already 15:15 hours.  Everybody was so happy about the scenic beauty of the route from Lovedale till Emerald. I had all the kiddies in my Civvy and they were playing Crushing Crushing Ice creams in the car. The game was to crush the kiddie at the door when ever I take a hairpin curve. It was real fun in the car, and I can't figure out when I had laughed like that before in my life... Thank you kiddies, you were amazing continued... |

| Re: Swifted : Ooty Day 03 19th August 2012 We tried to go to Avalanche Dam, roads were very bad for sedans  We turned back to Ooty  After a few Kilometers I figured mjothi had taken the route back to Kundah instead of Ooty. Called him and asked to take a U turn and we waited for him. It was 18KM to Ooty and it was 17:30 hours  The views from there was amazing too  mjothi joined us back by 17:45 and we rolled on towards Ooty continued... |

| Re: Swifted : Ooty Day 03 19th August 2012 We reached Ooty by 18:30 hours and moved on to our respective resorts to relax, with a promise to sync up the next day morning for further plans. Starvegabond was booked at Sterling Fern Hill and mjothi at Twin tree Kotagiri. So bid them bye and reached Club Mahindra by 18:45 hours. Weather was chill at 15 degrees  Ordered some Chicken and Lamb steaks to the room for a change and to avoid the battle for food Steak was really good. Watched some TV and retired for the day. What an amazing day. Thank you mjothi and Starvegabond for the nice drive |
