Ahh, the adventure activities. I love the ladder climb and rope walking. Was trained during my NCC days and the first time I had a pretty bad fall, not from the rope but while doing slithering (Fast-roping - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) had cut the skin between thumb and palms badly and on both the hands. But, once I learned the trick to do it the correct way, it was real fun.

Now the answers

1. Frame - I used the border feature of Picasa Tool.
2. Yes I did drive out to find the chocolate factory. All I remembered was it was in a hairpin curve. I tried all hairpin curves except the one on the Dodabeta/Kothagiri route
3. As part of the membership the stay is not charged. Some games, Gym etc are also not charged. Activities which involve manual labour like spa, activities, food etc are charged, but members get 25% off the rates.
4. Swan was our house keeping fellow's creativity. The fruit was from their Ayurveda garden.

Just FYI - Swan or any such shapes using towels is a regular club mahindra feature and you will see it in any of their resorts.

Its a regular feature in almost all 3 star plus resorts

This day is special. This is my birthday .

I woke up early, took a nice hot shower and am ready for the action. PPGs wished me and were ready to go for the food war at the restaurant. It was so amazing that educated people can be so restless and impatient over food items which any ways get replenished through out the buffet. Some were hell bent on creating a scene at the counter

We walk in to the restaurant. Rajat spots us immediately. He eyes the table that was getting vacant, and held the fort for us. He immediately got us the required cutleries and we were in action. We had a nice heavy breakfast and returned back to the room by 10:00AM

By now I got a call from Starvegabond that he is in Ooty and in front of the reception of Club Mahindra. We met up and families exchanged pleasantries. I was so happy to meet his parents, meeting elders on my birthday is really a nice feeling. They also showered their birthday greetings for me.

It was our first meeting after our trip to Rajasthan. We never got the time and space to meet in Bangalore and it has to be in Ooty. WoW!!

I called up mjothi and updated that we have Starvegabond in Ooty. We decided to meet at Lovedale at 11:40AM, so that we could also see a train too.

So, day looked good. Friends and Family for my birthday in Ooty!

Lovedale station was constructed in 1907
