I have done this route in 1994. Was bad then too, but not as steep / adventurous as mentioned here. Normal big buses used to ply here.

Laluks,Noway there was buses travelling thru that route that too in 94 as i did this in 96 in RX100 with no much difficulties other than the fear on wild boars.we enetered from Topstation and immedeatly eneterd into the forest route where there was a forest check post,but without any permission.The route meant for ONLY 4x4s and ofcourse bikers with wild mechins,but no idea abt the current conditions of the route.
