Update 3:30PM

Arindam and GSMINC has entered West Bengal. There were passing Dantan. So they are just 3 hours drive to Kolkata and set to reach there before sunset. So far no one asked for the Rs.800 at Jaleshwar check post.

Update on hvkumar: Kumar Reached Kolkata at 2:30PM. After changing his two tyres, he plan to drive whole night to reach Gangtok tomorrow.

Arindam, I'm sorry to hear about the dog hit---reminds me of one I'd had long, long back. Anyway, it is nice to know that the damages were light on the pocket.

If any of you guys needs any MASS help, my pal, Kaushik Ojha, is the GM of Sky Automobiles that is located between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, closer to Cuttack. They were also opening an outlet at Bhubaneswar opp Utkal University.

Surprise Fellas!

while I was returning from my Kalingasthan Drive, I caught up with our GQx2 Champs. Tx to HVK. Had it not been for his tyres, I would not have known their coordinates.

Day 2 update

As updated it was a leisure start. First half an hour went for searching for the MASS - first two leads lead us to local mechanic shop, third one to a showroom. Our assumption that showroom will anyway have a service center, proved to be wrong.

From there we finally found the direction for the workshop. The actual work of removing the dent in bumper took 10 minutes, but the entire procedure took almost close to 1.5 hours (inspecting, opening job card, taking the vehicle in, and then after the work, taking vehicle out, negotiation, payment process, etc.). Finally we came out at 10:30 am and there went the plan of visiting Puri. GSMINC was dejected but he took it in his stride.

While in the showroom I got a call from Tirthankar, and pleasantly surprised to know that he was in Bhubaneswar. Was not in touch in TBHP :(.

So after few phone call exchanges, we decide to meet after next toll gate, and you can already see the results.

Reached Vidyasagar Setu just before 6:00 pm.

Now relaxing at home and savouring home cooked food.

Tomorrow start again planned at 7:00 am, destination planned Etawah.

We went to Sky first, the showroom was not open at 9:00. However security guards over there directed us to Narayani Motors.

Sir, we had a good night's sleep and only 20 km drive for the day at that time.

@planetrocker and other kolkata tbhpians: we will be starting from PNB island in Salt Lake at 7:00 am. If anyone of you would like to meet us, we can meet at that time. Not sure what happened to the city center meet which was supposed to be.

Good Show Arindam, but today is another test.

Kolkata - Etawah in a day is a challenge as well. Hope you cross Allahabad faster.
