Missed this thread for almost 2 weeks. Excellent pics. Though I would have preferred to drive down from Chennai to Leh. Nice travelogue.

Ive done entire India by road right from Jammu to Karnataka however my dream is what you've already done. I'm planning to go to Leh Ladakh on my Spark or Alto.

I'm still wondering as to which car would be more suitable for that kind a of a terrain.

PS : I'm from Delhi and i've travelled down south till karnataka an up north till Jammu ( Katra) on my Spark and i've done the entire Rajasthan and a trip to Rohtang pass on my Alto.

I'm not sure how to start a travelogue to share all my pics and experiences. Please help

The Alto for sure. It is the tried and tested one in Ladakh.
And, of course, no one comes close to Maruti's widespread service network.

@ Hemant : Thanks for your help. I've made my own travelogue and mentioned herewith is the link for the same. I've uploaded few initial pictures of the trip and would upload loads of them along with the incidents over the weekend.

Thanks again
