Hotel Munnar Inn is right at the heart of Munnar, next to the bus stand. We paid around 2k per night for a triple bedroom. We were four guys and managed to stay there. They arranged parking with security, think it was not covered.
Suggestion, if you are looking at budget hotel, then you may consider this else there are better options in the town. Check tripadvisor.in for the ratings of hotels.

I must visit this place. Looks so peaceful. And since it down here in the south, it should be easier to reach, in the sense that it will take less time to make it to the place. Waiting for more on your travelogue.
