A name quickly mentioned on the phone, from a moving car to a man who is more than a touch hard of hearing --- van so often lead to a case of mistaken identity [BLUSH] (Mods; I want a blush smiley; I need it often!).

No-one picked me up on it before, so lets hope its forgotten, and I can say how nice it was to see Mr and Mrs Sideways at our house, along with Sam and Jenny, albeit for a rushed visit that day.

Whether people choose budget guesthouses or five-star hotels, this is a wonderful country to travel in. I can't quite bring myself to spend that much money on taking Mrs N just down the road (although we've been to Pondy a couple of times), but a spot of luxury in a Rajasthani fort is definitely on the list, if only those share prices go up again

sam, a small request: how about putting up a copy of all the posts of the travelouge written by you and the one together in another link once the whole episode comes to an end, it would be sure nice to read it once again altogether like a book :-)

You are correct, both about the price and the quality of the room. What you have overlooked is that the Tower Room is "Naturally cooled" a euphemism for non air-conditioned. This room might be an natural choice in some other month. Not in April/may.

In the peak of summer, the air conditioning in the our rooms was a huge respite from the hot tamil sun outside.

Sorry, I was not giving an official theory on Nungus (palmfruit), I have tasted it only once in life too! When you buy it from the wayside, they have a different bunch to be given to people who take 'carry home' (not open). Probably they are the spoiled ones. Experts might find the good ones through outer colour and size. 'Once in a life-time' characters like me will get cheated, because I dont know to spot out the good one.

Yeah, but it is on-axis in some places and off-axis in others. Read ICE section for more details.

According to many, I don't. They say I look like some infamous turban laden who happens to come from the lands of unlimited harems.
