Hi Varun,

Fantastic travelogue of your visit to Jodhpur (my sasuraal) and Udaipur with some great pics. Your mentions about your love for food makes you a foodie and the waist size shows too..

BTW, I was looking for some mention of Daal Bhati & Choorma, Laal Maans etc. It seems you did not have these specialities of Rajasthan. And if the food isn't spicy then 'khaane ka kya mazaa'..?

Couldn't agree more. Life mein mirchi nahin toh mazaa nahin aata.

Thanks GD Bhai !! Waist Size hi to problem hai

Daal Baati Choorma to khaya But this time gave Laal Maans a miss because of the weather. It was a little hot and I have problems eating mutton in summers.

I love spicy food myself !!

Nice pictures Varun!! Awesome travelogue.

I also stayed at the Mewar Haveli in October last year..It was really great. I agree with you.. Harish there can arrange anything and everything for you. And the rooms are sheer superb.

Very eager to see some more pictures though!!

Thanks Gautam !!!

@CorsaLove - Thanks for the comments !! Yes, the Mewar Haveli is indeed a wonderful place to stay.

Spending more money at a bigger place is always a safer bet, but even budget hotels sometimes give you maximum bang for your buck which these bigger hotels never do in present day scenarios ( Read Taj @ 30,000 + & Oberois @ 35,000 + !!! ). Sheer rip-off's I feel IMHO.

I will post more pics soon. Cheers !!
