Hi folks. I work overseas and annual holidays are a tightly packed affair and scheduled to the day. Last year me along with my better half went on a Cochin - Bhutan - Cochin ride on the BMW GSA. This time I went on a solo overnight camping trip to Vagamon; a mere 75 kms away from home.
Packing my stuff on the BMW GSA 1200 was done the day before. The Moskomoto 35 Liter soft panniers, Moskomoto 40 Liter duffle bag and GIVI 42-liter Aluminum top box swallowed all of my luggage that included Quechua 2-person tent, Quechua inflatable mattress, bed spread, blanket and pillow, Cooking utensils, Gas Stove, Stanley coffee maker, table, chair, tool box, Air pump, Air compressor, Jump Starter, lights, 2 thermos 1.5 ltr each, Cameras- Insta 360 Ace Pro, Insta 360 x2, DJI Mini 3 pro drone, light clothing and emergency medical kit.
My riding gear consists of BMW Jacket and riding pants with full protection, Airoh Commander carbon helmet, TCX riding boots, Cardo Packtalk Bluetooth, Alpinestar riding gloves. Phone mounts are from Quadlock.

Left home at around 08:00 Hrs after having a hearty breakfast prepared by mom. It was a very leisure ride to Vagamon with frequent stops in between. Brought provisions for the night from Pambanar town. Reached the camping grounds at around 14:00 hrs.
The Orange Valley Camp is a few kilometers from the main road and is accessible by cars and motorcycles alike. The camping grounds are fully fenced with a well-maintained grass area, well maintained wash rooms, cooking area, sufficient lighting at night, a caretaker for the night and the amazing part is the mesmerizing view of the valley below which is a feast for your eyes.

The property offers their own tents and food and the management was very generous to allow me pitch my own tent at a small fee.
Tent was pitched by 17:00 Hrs and there I was, coffee in hand sitting on my chair with sunsetting behind me, a light chilly breeze, I couldn't have asked for more.

Quechua tent and inflatable mattress. Very inviting for a good night's sleep
My cooking saw a stray dog joining me. He sat next to me and never left my side until I left the next day.

Before I wind up, I wish to offer a message to all travellers out there. Always manage your own trash. If the place you stay does not offer trash management, carry the trash with you and that includes cigarette butts as well. The world is ours to preserve and each small act counts. Cheers folks
