Re: "Me Time" road trip - A Travelogue without a destination

Nice travelogue. We all need that 'me' time and what better than just taking off without a plan. This goes so well for the saying "It's not about the destination, it's the journey that matters"!

Re: "Me Time" road trip - A Travelogue without a destination

With a heavy heart, I have to inform that my wife of 18 years decided to give me an indefinite "me time" and departed for her heavenly abode on 6th August 2024, just a week after this "me time" trip. I am still struggling to overcome the feeling of guilt. Rest in peace, my beloved.

I'm really sorry for your loss. Any words of consolation will ring hollow, and only you know the pain you feel. Please don't weigh yourself down with the sense of guilt. Your beloved partner would not have wanted to see you wilt and wither. I hope she was not in pain and is resting in peace, and I pray that you too heal with time.

I am really sorry to hear about your loss. Words cannot compensate the loss, but just think that there is a whole team-bhp family behind you sharing your loss.
And respectfully, dont feel guilty about anything but delve on the good times you spent. I know easier said than done but it is the truth

Condolences for your loss. Once you've taken the time and mind-space to process it, please try and focus on the good times you did spend with her instead of regretting the 'what could've beens'. She'd want it that way, and you'd be the richer for the memories and reminisces.

So sorry for your loss my friend and may she rest in peace. Think of it differently - she was witness to a really happy “me time” weekend that you had which I am sure you discussed with her on your return. That is something.

Very sorry to hear. My condolences to you and the family.

These are matters beyond our control, and we just have to face it and keep moving on.
