Nice read, quite inspiring to see you drive to Spiti all the way from Assam. I recognized your car from a common whatsapp group and recall that you had posted about some issues with the car's air conditioning. Hope that is fixed now?

Thanks yes I had faced AC issues during the trip, yes hope it got resolved as had sent the car to SC to rectify and they had done some software update.

Well I have sold the Kicks and have bought a Maruti Suzuki Jimny Alpha MT.

I will add a few pics of certain other things here.

As we were driving up from Narkanda towards Hatu peak, we could see the trekking trails alongside the road. Now, being a trekker, these trails looked too good to miss out on, so two of us, we jumped out of the car and did the hike up to the peak. After climbing a bit we realised that we did not have have any trekking gear or shoes and the trail got slippery at times due to the melting snow. Nevertheless the scenery was great and we made it to the top. Some pics from the hike-








After the hike, we got back into the car and made our way up the Hindustan-Tibet road.

On the way to Hikkim, we could see a herd of himalayan mountain goats grazing.


Did some skiing near Langza. The exertion can be taxing at this altitude though. But had a good experience

Nice read. Spiti has been on my bucket list for quite some time. I hope I'll be able to undertake a similar Guwahati to Spiti road trip someday. By the way, did you replace the Thar and the Kicks with the bluish black Jimmy? If I remember correctly, I often used to see the Thar parked under the shed at your place and the Kicks outside before March. However, this time, I saw the Jimny occupying the Thar's place in the garage.

Thanks yes, I have sold both the Thar and the Kicks and have bought the Jimny Alpha MT last month. Jimny will fulfill both the Thar and the Kicks duties.
