Re: Haunting in Burrillville - The Conjuring House

The room where they stored the dead who couldn't survive the harsh winters is something one cannot even imagine doing in today's times. Also, the concept of having a well inside the house to avoid getting poisoned is some really dark times people back in the day had to witness.

Thank you for sharing your experience as for people like me these are places where I wouldn't visit even with a 100 people around me in broad daylight

I think you meant not instead of now.

Hahaha, No, I'll probably reserve the recital for the overnight stay

Good call out, thanks for catching the typo. I'll request mods to modify it.

Re: Haunting in Burrillville - The Conjuring House

Excellent travelogue and thanks for sharing this unique photoblog.

Being a horror fan and also a fan of Conjuring this seems like an interesting place to visit.

I visit Boston and also visit Rhode Island to meet more family (Woonsocket, RI) at least a couple of times in a year so will certainly plan this next time we are around that area.

Sounds like a fun and terrorizing experience.

Re: Haunting in Burrillville - The Conjuring House

Amazing thread. Great write up. I can only imagine what kind of experience you had during the tour. Along with a friend, I used to binge watch 'A Haunting' on discovery. Brought back those memories.
Also, I hadn't seen the movie before hence rented the movie yesterday and watched. Having your thread's background made it more interesting.

Thanks for sharing.

Regards,
Saket

It’s a stone’s throw from Woonsocket and you need to definitely plan a visit. You need to book the slots well in advance as they conduct tours only on certain days and they get filled up pretty fast.

Just superb. I read your touring experience in one go, was so hooked up to it like watching a thriller movie. Thanks for taking time and sharing these to us. As always a BHPn's words are more credible than any documentaries or films. And those woods looks so scary even in your pics. Eagerly waiting to read your GHamping experiences.
