Day 23: 03-Jun-2023 – Mysore and back home
We halted somewhere after tumukuru as it was just 3 hours from Mysore and we had to reach mysore for lunch only. Got up bit late and reached mysore by 1PM and after lunch with the kid started our marathon home run.

Saw couple of wild animals while driving from Mysore to Kerala via Nilambur. The animals are not scared of vehicles, one peacock came just near the car and started to dance with full feathers opened.

Reached Kottayam by 11:30PM where my friend was dropped at his house and I continued my drive to home and reached by 3AM.

Vehicle: 2014 Innova G (got used from Delhi)
Kilometers: 5808
Total Fuel: 472.658
Kitna deti hai:12.30
Total Toll: 8000.00

Remarks: Could have gone for Automatic. The vehicle performed flawlessly, was never a fan of Innova, but now I’m converted. Now actively looking for used Automatic Innova

Are you kidding me? You went on a vacation, bought a car, toured around and drive back home covering 5000+ KM almost across the length of India!! You deserve some serious applaud. Also you have covered the most famous temples in these places apart from venturing into all the states you have touched. Kudos to you for undertaking such an epic journey, hope to see more such trips from you, glanced at a few of your old trip logs on TBHP

Your trip reminded me of our last year trip to the Himachal (Navratri in the Himachal - A 4500+ KM Roadtrip from Kolkata in an Innova Crysta) although we kept the focus to some portions of Himachal only unlike your exhaustive coverage. We missed visiting Jakhoo temple by a whisker. Sharing few clicks of Shimla from our visit.
